Tanzanian Hanging Bowl

$375.00

This is a very special piece that you cannot find anywhere! This was made by my dear friend Angelina in the Dodoma region of Tanzania. It measures 9 inches across and 4.5 inches deep. The basket is made by using sisal threads and is hand woven by old men in Dodoma. The baskets are almost impossible to find these days because the old men who make them aren’t around anymore and younger generations dont want to learn the traditional craft. I only have one of these for sale and i wont have another. This is your opportunity to own a piece of historical Tanzanian craft!
